Mike has been an artist since he was very young, and after high school went to St. Joseph's art school and graduated with a bachelors in art. He got into screen printing shortly there after, which then led to his interest in tattooing. He worked at a great little shop in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, called Blue Line Tattoo and Body Piercing. Where he fine-honed his skills and gained a large following of dedicated customers. Mike excels in black and gray work, as well as oriental styled, and cover up work. Of course, dark, demonic, and evil subjects are always appreciated. Mike is inspired by his son Alexander (Age 14), his daughter Bella (Age 2), and Tracy for putting up with him for as long as she has. He greatly appreciates and is inspired by his friends at Blue Line for allowing him to do excellent work with them for the past nine years, and is now looking forward to a long and rewarding career here at Tatu Royale. Come on in and see what he can do for you!

Customer Rights and Etiquette

The Tattoo Industry is a Customer Driven Economy. You, as the customer, have rights, as well as responsibilities. You have the right to a great tattoo. You have the responsibility to ensure that you are getting tattooed in a safe, and sterile environment, by a licensed professional tattoo artist.

Once you are in the caring arms of a professional tattoo artist, you will need to express *exactly* what you are thinking about as your new tattoo. What your design idea is, what it means to you, where you want it, and ask your artist what they think about it.

In the design process, some artists prefer a consultation prior to scheduling your appointment. If for any reason you can't make your consultation or any appointment with your artist, you must call in as early as possible. This simple show of respect will be greatly appreciated by your artist.

Before your tattoo session, eat a good meal for body strength and endurance. No alcohol for at least 12 hours prior. No aspirin that day. Ibuprofen helps keeps swelling minimal during marathon tattooing. A bowl of jello that morning (Vitamin K), and a banana for potassium. All good stuff. Personal hygiene is a must. Nice breath is a bonus too. Don't try to shave your tattoo area yourself; razors can slice off a layer of tattoo canvas! Drink water, be hydrated, and bring some water with you to drink during your tattoo session.

It is imperative that you follow your artists directions on caring for your tattoo. She is now one of the shops two piercers and enjoys doing micro dermal anchors the most of any piercing, but also enjoys the tighter inner ear work as well. She is an excellent addition to our shop and loves to poke holes in you. He is not only a notable Winona tattoo artist but also an excellent portrait artist who dabbles in the strange and freakish. His artwork is a precise mix-up of classic realism; a stark and sometimes haunting interpretation of beauty; and a fascination with the grotesque. He is originally from Viroqua, Wisconsin and he began drawing and painting early in life. Eric now resides in Winona where, using skin as his canvas and ink as his medium, he employs his artistic skill in creating the stunning tattoos he is becoming famous for. He is an extraordinary artist and specializes in portrait work and other original pieces. He excels in oil painting but he is also very skilled in pastels, charcoal, pen and ink, and regular pencil. He has a vast amount of skill which continues to grow. He got into tattooing due to his love for his own tattoos, and has quickly become one of the top tattooers at our shop. He focuses on building you a piece that not only fits what you want, but that fits your body as well. Eric has a large following and many dedicated customers that will wait weeks to be tattooed by him. His work can range from delicate to bold depending on your style. Take a look at his excellent portfolio and see what he has in store for you.

Eric@taturoyale.com

Mike

Mike Allaire is our newest member here at Tatu Royale. He has been tattooing for a little over nine years, starting in the year 2000.
